Dear readers,
please excuse our loooooong silence whilst we have been on our grand tour of grandparents, gread-grandparents, aunties, uncles, friends etc...
Madeleine is now a seasoned traveller, having flown long-haul twice (Houston-Paris and back), and been driven all the way from northern France to Scotland, with stopovers near London, manchester and in Wales. Apart from the whole experience being pretty exhausting and our passports nearly not coming back on time from the American embassy (our visas had to be changed), everything went quite well and baby took the travel in her stride. We had braced ourselves for lots of screaming in the car and plane, but overall things went quite well and she slept a lot in her carseat.
We were in Britain at the time of the worst winter in 25 years, so let me restart the blogging with some nice snowy views of Scotland...
