I have a car!!

Yes I have a car, it's here, it's blue and it's great! We went out on a mission yesterday to buy me a car, and came home with one in the evening (yes that's called being efficient! - although we had been looking for quite a while so had narrowed the choice down to 2 possible models - the other one was, as you probably know, the Subaru Forester). Weird here how they just let you take the car home without taking any payment or even a deposit from you...! we're going back on Tuesday to give them the money! We didn't even need to arrange insurance for it as we were told the current insurance for H's car covers us for a new car for several days...

Back to my lovely car then: it's a Mazda CX-7, 2007 model, with only 2000 miles on it. In fact it still smells new! Very nice colour, it's in excellent condition, and has heated light grey leather seats (very useful in Houston haha). It's got a 2.3l turbo engine, with 244bhp, so it's quite nippy, and we really liked the fact that even though it's an SUV it drives like a normal car and doesn't waddle like most of them. It's really lovely to drive in fact, very easy. And for those of you who didn't want me to get an SUV (sorry...will you still come to my blog?), well at least it's really not a big one, nothing like a Texan pick-up truck or the Volvo we tried a little while ago.
