We spent the first 4 nights in Tokyo in a hotel situated in the top floors of a skyscraper, the Park Hotel. We were on the 31st floor, and I took the following pic from the window (long exposure and I moved the camera for effect!):

But Tokyo is also home to some very traditional places indeed, like the following typical Japanese garden. It is very popular for weddings and includes a tea house, where we were served green tea and Japanese sweets by a lady in a kimono.

I love the shot of the delicate pink leaves. The sweets look beautifully presented, but the green tea looks like pea soup!! Superb photos of the things you saw - lovely to see them! ;-))
