Here are a few photos from a couple of outings, one that took us on a boat on a bayou (local river) to see the bat colony that lives under a bridge in the centre of Houston, and the other at a ranch, complete with cattle demonstration and costumed people... Enjoy!

That's so eery to see bats hovering about like that.I've only seen a bat up close once in my life, and it was in France.
