Update on the Halloween stuff: we left the front porch lights on last night to signify that kids could come in for 'candy', but only 4 turned up, including one that was pre-arranged (Hugh's boss's little boy), and a teenager who wasn't even dressed up! So we're left with lots of chocolate to eat ourselves!
Halloween decorations in the area...
And this... a big blow-up plastic dome with a skeleton inside and bits of paper flying around, just like one of those tacky paperweight with Eiffel Towers and fake snow...
Update on my classes: they're very good, although very dense; there's A LOT to take in! It's all quite difficult, but my motivation is sky high. So far I have done "Law of Agency" and "Principles of Real Estate II". Next week will be "Principles of Real Estate I" and "Law of Contracts", before I take the marketing class over the weekend of 16-18 December. At the end of each course there is an open-book test which you have to pass to be awarded a certificate showing that you have attended that particular class. This is important as you can't sit the state exam if you haven't taken the classes. Anyway, everything being well, I am hoping to try sitting the exam in December. We'll see what happens then!!

Hi Maylis,
Yes, those of us who are back in Europe, can just skip the temperature part !
I'am sure that your first Halloween was very memorable. As with Xmas, some epeople really go all out with deco. Which can be good or tacky.
Glad to hear that you are very motivated for your classes. You will have to tell us about that as you go on with the class.
Take care.
:p A bientôt! Hélène
